Bees for Development
An independent organisation founded in 1993 by Dr Nicola Bradbear and Ms Helen Jackson. We are an information service working at the centre of an international network of people and organisations involved with apiculture in developing countries.
Beekeeping is an effective way for poor people to strengthen their livelihoods, and Bees for Development works to provide information to assist them.

Feed The Children

For nearly 30 years, Feed The Children has helped lead the drive to alleviate the suffering of millions of hungry children in 100 countries.
From food programs to disaster relief, Feed The Children has "worked around the clock to bring hope" to the most desperate and helpless of our global citizens: the children.
During this month of bounty, We ask you to consider contributing to the Feed The Children fund.
For as low as $8 a month, you can help feed an unfortunate child. Your generous donation will also help to provide funds for medicine, clothes and other necessities that so many children around the world are forced to go without.

Habitat Works
Do you want to....
Do something in nature with your own hands to make things better, and see tangible results at the end of the day?Explore beautiful, remote areas of Southern California, discover artifacts and see track & sign of abundant wildlife everywhere?
Meet other intrepid volunteers involved in meaningful stewardship in our own back yard?
Come out with Habitat Works!
We host single day events, weekend campouts and backpacking trips in Southern California’s precious National Forests, private preserves and State and National Parks. On our projects, volunteers have the opportunity to learn about our local threatened and endangered species, how their survivorship is threatened, and have the hands-on opportunity to improve the habitats where they live. Please check our CALENDAR and join us on an upcoming project. We look forward to meeting and working with you soon!
